So for a while now we've had this joke in our family that my mom is slowly poisoning my dad with arsenic. Don't know why, really.... We are just plain weird.... So a while back he ended up in the ER with food stuck in his esophagus. They ended up putting him under and stretching the sphincter leading to his stomach. Well, when he woke up he said to the nurse, with my mom standing right there, "I guess the arsenic didn't work this time..." The nurse just looked at my mom and asked what in the world he was talking about. My poor mother just said that he was crazy and she had no idea. Pretty sure he was trying to get her arrested! Haha!
Well, Monday was his birthday and in his card my mom wrote that she hopes to spend a few more birthdays with him. A few more to us means, like, three. So apparently she's going to be upping his doses. He will be missed.
My family is completely nuts! But I couldn't imagine life with out them.

Another funny/odd thing lately is stuff Analynn does. She has been reaching for people for a while now, but lately she's just been reaching with one arm or the other. Lazy much?? Gosh. And then last night she was checking out her night light before bed time and she started cocking her head to the side. It was absolutely hilarious! Charlie and I were just cracking up! She is just too adorable.
I just had to share these odd tidbits of my life so one day my children can look back and know how odd they themselves were, along with how insanely odd my family is :]
